Born from Practice, Grounded in Principle
Alchemy of Grace didn’t start with a business plan. It started with seven years of living the work—in the soil, in ceremony, in communities doing the real thing.
In 2012, we left the United States. Not for vacation. For immersion. We traveled across networks of regenerative communities—agroforestry projects, reforestation initiatives, permaculture systems working in symbiosis with the land. We learned from indigenous wisdom keepers, earth-based ceremonies, and plant teachers. We witnessed good work being done.
But we also saw something missing: governance that matched the values.
Communities with profound spiritual alignment had no legal architecture to protect their work. Families building generational wealth had no structures to preserve their intentions. So we did what we do best—we drafted. For ourselves first. Then for the communities we served. Then for families seeking alignment between their wealth and their principles.
What emerged was not a business model. It was a Master Trust Drafting practice—a sophisticated ability to create custom trust architectures that serve as operating systems for values-aligned stewardship across generations.
The work built the practice. We didn’t start with a business plan. We started with conviction. The trust architecture came later—refined through real-world application and now funding our mission.
Heartsong Expedition
Left the United States for South America. Learned the fundamentals of organic gardening, permaculture design, land restoration, and regenerative agroforestry. Built relationships with indigenous wisdom keepers and earth-based practitioners across Ecuador and Colombia.
Mama Bear Sanctuary
Four years in the Valley of Longevity. Rescued animals, fed families, restored land. Created living proof-of-concept for values-aligned community stewardship. This is where the trust drafting practice was born—out of necessity, not theory.
Coastal Expansion
Two years on Ecuador’s Pacific coast. Continued sanctuary work and deepened the trust architecture practice. Served communities and families navigating the intersection of spiritual values and practical governance.
Final Year Abroad
One year in Colombia, completing seven years of immersion across South America. Refined the frameworks that would become Alchemy of Grace’s signature approach to constitutional trust architecture.
Return & Expansion
Returned home to be more deeply engaged with our calling. Expanded the trust architecture practice to serve families and organizations nationwide. Mama Bear Sanctuary continues wherever we are.

Mama Bear Sanctuary
This is not a side project. This is why we practice trust architecture.
Mama Bear Sanctuary is not tied to a single geographic location—it exists wherever we are. During our years in Vilcabamba and Olón, we rescued animals and fed families weekly while restoring land through regenerative practices. That work never stopped.
Today, the sanctuary is active. Dogs, cats, owls, raccoons, opossums—we rescue whatever crosses our path. Some we keep. Some we rehome. Some we relocate back to the wild. The practice is the same as it was in Ecuador: if it needs help and it’s in front of us, we act.
