Lantern

The light that remembers.

Lantern is where a human life is kept: voice, memories, stories, songs, laughter, writings, values, calling, journal and history. It is private by default, and it is yours.

Your Lantern on this device

Working explanation

Anything anywhere on this site can be offered to your Lantern, but nothing becomes part of it silently. Each offer gives you four choices: Add, Edit first, Not now, Discard. A suggestion from Grace stays labeled as a suggestion until you adopt it. Corrections keep their history.

Architecture

Today your Lantern lives only in this browser. It is not synced and Alchemy of Grace cannot read it. Download it any time from My Data. Shared or cloud Lanterns will open only after their privacy and security work is done.

The Lantern app

The fuller Lantern app (profiles, letters, testament, voice) is at lantern.alchemyofgrace.org. It also keeps everything on your own device. It is a separate site, so seeds kept here do not appear there automatically.
