Grace, before she was paused
Grace is paused. While she is paused, nothing you type to her is read or kept.
From February to October 2026 the earlier Grace chat kept records of conversations. Here is what it kept, as the system actually ran:
- Each exchange: the visitor’s message, Grace’s reply, the time, the AI model used and the visitor’s IP address, in Alchemy of Grace’s database on Cloudflare. No expiry was set.
- Saved chat history: where the chat window saved a conversation, the messages and a device identifier; sometimes also the IP address and browser type.
- Contact details: only where a visitor chose to give a name, email or phone number.
- Processing: each message was sent to an AI model provider (Anthropic, or Cloudflare Workers AI) to produce the reply.
- A browser cookie (grace_visitor, 90 days) recognized return visits.
- Automatic CIRCLE sign-up: some conversations were enrolled in CIRCLE automatically. That has ended and will not return.
These records are kept as the ministry’s own record of what Grace said. They are not used to train any AI. To ask what is held about you, write to roots@alchemyofgrace.org.
Earlier pages and other tools
Earlier pages of this site are preserved as lineage and withheld from public view while they are corrected. Other Alchemy of Grace tools on their own addresses have their own data practices; each gets its own entry here as it is reviewed.
Consent is an event
You are asked at the exact moment something would be kept, with what, why, who can see it, for how long, whether it is required and what happens if you decline. Each yes is recorded as its own event, on your device, and you can see those events above.
