Real Rescue Stories

Matico was hit by a car. Leg broken. Could have been euthanized. We intervened. Treated the injury. Healed the trauma. Now Matico runs. Now Matico plays. Now Matico is alive.
Lucky was skeletal when we found him. Parasites throughout his body. Malnutrition so severe veterinarians said recovery was unlikely. We didn’t stop. Consistent care. Good food. Medical attention. Lucky recovered. Lucky is now a thriving member of the sanctuary family, healing other animals simply by existing near them.
Tiger Dog arrived traumatized. Abused. Aggressive. Through patient rehabilitation, Tiger bonded with Lucky. Together they fathered a pack of 11 puppies. Those puppies were born into safety. They grew up in stability. They were rehomed into families prepared to love them. This is what healing looks like at scale.
Suki gave birth to 11 puppies in our sanctuary. Every one of those puppies now has a family. Every one broke the cycle of abandonment that would have killed them. That’s 11 beings whose existence changed because we were here.

We are in direct negotiations with city planners, land trusts, and community leaders in New Orleans and Kensington, Philadelphia. We’re identifying real buildings. Historic structures. Churches that need restoration. Spaces in the heart of the city where healing can happen at scale.
Mojo Magic will be an urban healing center. A place where people recovering from addiction, trauma, and disconnection can access real support, real community, and real pathways toward stability and purpose. The Healing Café will serve $1 meals—real nutrition offered with dignity. Street-level outreach will meet people where they are. Immersion retreats will create space for deep healing work.
